Scio Community Alliance Church The web site of Scio Community Alliance Church, a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Ann Arbor, Michigan, features a straightforward, classic design that allows the content of the site to take pride of place. Worthy of special note is the "calendar" section, which is dynamically generated based on information that the church staff can enter in a separate administrative web application we designed for them. The application accepts one-time events, as well as recurring events with a variety of frequency criteria (for example, every month on the third Tuesday). This data is stored in a database and retrieved for display when a visitor views the calendar pages. This is a good example of how we can design a site to make it easy for the site owner to maintain and update it without any further intervention on our part.
